It is no surprise that Diane’s fans have crowned her “Queen of Jeans”. Her passion for denim started long ago before her debut in 1994, while still in college. Diane opened a boutique featuring all designs in Los Angeles. This soon earned her an A-List clientele of Hollywood starlets such as Jimmy Hendricks, Janet Joplin and Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane. Diane moved to New York City in the late 70’s where she launched a selection of silks. In the 80’s her brand CABAL was in every window in each store in New York City and every full page in New York Fashion ads.Diane published her first book, titled “Good Jeans” in 2014, chronicling her rise in the industry and revealing her formula for success. She has also won many industry awards, however, she is perhaps most thrilled by receiving the 2019 “Woman In Power” award presented by the National Council of Jewish Women Palm Beach Section.
