Dear NCJW Sisters,
My first exposure to NCJW was “Let’s Do Lunch.” I loved making sandwiches knowing they were helping, even if for one day, with food insecurity. I discovered I could do more if I joined NCJW. Once I was a member, I began volunteering for Kids Community Closet. Later, I joined the Board as recording secretary on a whim and a prayer.
I discovered that the NCJW ladies are my tribe. They care so much and stretch so far to address the overarching needs of our hungry, marginalized, and voiceless neighbors. NCJW makes a difference every day, right here in Palm Beach County.
Rolling up our sleeves, we seek to improve the lives of women and children through our advocacy and community service.
Our NCJW dues are not expensive, but our reach is great. Your contribution to our annual fundraising campaign helps us continue our work. It helps us fund meals at the Lewis Center, buy clothing to give to needy children in 19 Title 1 schools, donate bags of essential items for homeless people, and it helps us fight antisemitism. We do so much with so little. Therefore, you can be sure your contribution doesn’t go to pay salaries or overhead. Every dollar goes to the bottom line of advocacy and community service.
It matters.
Thank you for your consideration. Chari Kelley
