As a fringe benefit of our Villaggio Women’s Seder, attendees donate Kosher for Passover non-perishable food items to be distributed through local synagogues to food insecure and home bound synagogue members.
On April 8th, our Holiday Bags committee assembled 40 bags which were delivered to the synagogues that afternoon.
Many thanks to Mirilynn Zager, Chair of the Holiday Bags Project, Christene Campbell Gabor and Susan Schwartz for schlepping the food and bagging the donations for delivery.
NCJW Villaggio provides Holiday Bags twice per year, for Rosh Hashanah and Passover.
It is a labor of love for the residents of Villaggio as well as our NCJW Villaggio members.
