For the second time in the past few months, our member, Marsha Rickles, Chair of our Heads Smart bicycle safety program, appeared on our local TV network to promote bicycle safety and proper helmet fitting.

In 1988, Marsha lost her 8-year-old son to a bicycle accident before helmet laws had been implemented. Marsha has been advocating for bicycle safety in her son’s memory for many years since that tragic day.

Marsha always pays tribute to NCJW Palm Beach for their partnership with this important effort.

Immense thanks to Marsha and her co-chair, Ilene Leefer, for bringing this important issue front and center to our community.
