Highland Elementary School is home to one of the first Kids Community Closets opened by NCJW Palm Beach in February 2012. For the past twelve years we have supplied the students with shirts, shorts, socks and underwear so that they could attend school in clean new clothing. Under the fabulous leadership of Yecenia “Jessy” Paredes, this closet has helped countless families. We received the following email and photo on February 5, 2024.
Hi Sarah,
I wanted to send you this picture of a parent and student new to our school who received uniform clothes from the KCC closet. She wanted me to thank you and all the women that make the KCC possible at Highland and feels fortunate to be at a school that offers so much support to its families.
