With Florida midterm elections approaching on November 3rd, the NCJW Palm Beach Advocacy Committee has been concentrating on educating our community on recent changes to voting registration, voting deadlines, and your voting rights.

We have hosted and will be hosting a series of VOTER REGISTRATION events in collaboration with the League of Women Voters and the Office of the Supervisor of Elections.

On July 9th, in partnership with the League of Women Voters, Judy Giller, of the League, spoke about recent changes to voting practices and the 2026 election deadlines.

On August 10th, at the Barclay in South Palm Beach, we were fortunate to have Wendy Sartore Link, the Supervisor of Elections, explain new voter information, as well as, Vote by Mail procedures. The Supervisor offered NCJW the opportunity to tour the entire Palm Beach County voter apparatus system. This invitation is being considered as a new event to be discussed.

Next, on September 30th, we will be heading to the Compass Community Center in Lake Worth Beach for a similar event with the League (see flyer above).

REMINDER…EARLY VOTING BEGINS ON OCTOBER 18

ON ANOTHER TOPIC…

On the evening of January 28, 2027, at the Villaggio Social Hall in Lake Worth, we will be hosting Rachel Laser, the CEO of Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

Laser is the first Jewish female CEO of this prominent national organization which advocates for maintaining the constitutionally required wall of separation between government and religion.

We are thrilled to be bringing such a competent speaker to Villaggio. ALL ARE WELCOME.

More information will be forthcoming but PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
