  • Membership increased from 709 to 809 members
  • Stocked 16 Kids Community Closets (increased by 1) serving 10,591 children
  • Established 2 Weekend Pantries for homeless children (increased by 1)
  • Served  18  dinners at the Lewis Center, a transitional homeless shelter
  • Keynote Singers continue to sing once a month at Morse Life
  • Reader’s Theatre for 4th graders at Roosevelt Elementary School
  • Cooked and served dinner at Quantum House for families of chronically or critically ill children
  • Tutored elementary school students while also teaching good citizenship, teamwork, sharing, patience, kindness at Freedom Shores Elementary School through Caridad
  • Collected, packed and shipped 93 boxes of snacks and personal care items oversees to Support our Troops
  • Registered voters (in coalition with League of Women Voters) before the mid-term elections
  • Generated and signed petitions to pass Amendment 4 (it passed!)
  • Hosted a seminar on gun safety
  • Distributed and signed petitions to ban assault weapons
  • Advocated and educated on human trafficking and placed posters at 7 bus shelters
  • Supplied household goods and personal care products to 120 Vita Nova youth aging out of Foster Care
  • Hosted a Card Party
  • Hosted a Canasta Tournament
  • Hosted a Cabaret Night at Villaggio
  • Hosted a Secret Cinema at the Movies at Delray
  • Hosted a Women’s Seder at Villaggio
  • Hosted a Literary Luncheon with author Talia Carner
  • Hosted our signature fundraising event- Women in Power with Diane Gilman
  • Awarded a scholarship from the Alk Scholarship Fund to a nursing student
  • Presented a Future Leader Award scholarship to a student who has shown exemplary community service volunteerism
