NCJW Martin/St. Lucie/Palm Beach, in partnership with Temple Beth El Israel, hosted a special presentation with Alice Sondike, a hidden child during the Holocaust. Her story of survival and personal consequences were detailed in the award-winning documentary, “Secret Lives,” a story of children, including Alice, who were saved by righteous and brave people, many non-Jews.

Over 100 people attended services followed by Alice’s extraordinary presentation.

There are so many stories that haven’t been told regarding the Holocaust. As Alice said, “It is my obligation to tell my story.”
