Advocacy Committee members have been busy the past few months promoting Amendment 4, Restoration of Voting Rights, attending rallies, creating flyers and working with partner organizations.

The Federal Courts and the Second Amendment”, featuring Hannah Shearer, Staff Attorney & Second Amendment Litigation Director, Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. On Sunday, December 9, Linda Geller-Schwartz will offer a presentation at the Limmud Boca Day of Jewish Learning featuring 80+ sessions as well as concerts to celebrate Chanukah. Linda’s presentation, “Ellis Island to Palm Beach County: NCJW Acts to Stop Sex Trafficking” with speak to NCJW’s part in the early 20th century in developing a wide-scale rescue system to stop the thousands of women who became part of what was called “white slavery.” The event takes place from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM at Boca Federation Campus, KYHS Building, 20900 Ruth and Baron Coleman Boulevard.
